The Lake Hartwell Association has donated 100 type III life jackets to the Corps of Engineers on Lake Hartwell. These life jackets will be used in the loaner program, operated by the Corps, for visiting swimmer’s and campers.
“We know that life jackets save lives, and our intent is to help the Corps of Engineers make jackets available to all that need them,” stated Ray Fedele, President of Lake Hartwell Association.
Lake Hartwell Association Inc. is a nonprofit member organization with thousands of family and business members. LHA serves the interests of lake residents, recreational users and businesses surrounding the lake by advocating issues that ensure the lake is kept clean and safe.
