The daily projected lake levels for Lake Hartwell indicate that the lake will be at levels between 649.1 and 649.3 during the period December 21st through December 30th, 2016. Average daily outflow will vary between 0 and 2,480 cfs for this period.

The 10-week projections show the lake level will gradually increase to 650.0 (which is 8.4 feet below the winter rule curve, or 10.0 feet below full pool of 660.0), for the period from December 24, 2016, through February 25, 2017. All projections are made by the Corps of Engineers, and are updated on a weekly basis. The Corps qualifies these projections with the statement “We have little confidence in projections of more than several days”.
