Lake Hartwell Association (LHA) membership is open to anyone who is interested in preserving the beauty and value of Lake Hartwell. The LHA is a 501c3 tax-exempt non-profit organization. Our IRS taxpayer identification member is 57-0893639. As no goods or services are provided in exchange, your membership dues and other contributions are tax deductible donations.

All LHA Members receive these benefits:

  • Knowing that your support helps protect Lake Hartwell, a valuable resource to Georgia and South Carolina
  • The LHA Quarterly Newsletter mailed directly to you
  • Email news items that pertain to the lake
  • Opportunities to attend LHA Membership Meetings and hear expert guest speakers
  • Notices regarding important information, meetings and hearings regarding Lake Hartwell
  • Program participation — easy to get involved with the planning and execution of the annual Lake Hartwell Clean-up and water recreation safety programs.

The membership year is 12 months from the month of the initial membership application.

Payment Options for New Memberships, Renewals & Special Donations

There are two ways that you can pay for your membership, either through a secure online payment or by sending a completed membership form with a check or money order through the mail.
